Free Day at the State Fair — We Need Booth Help

The Great New York State Fair opens this Wednesday, August 26, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. We have a sponsor booth on the fairgrounds and several days still need coverage.

This opportunity is open to all employees — estimators, call center, and anyone else interested in participating.

WHAT'S INVOLVED

Setup and teardown are fully handled. Volunteers are simply there to staff the booth: greet visitors, be engaging, and generate leads. There is no presentation to prepare and nothing to transport or assemble.

WHAT'S PROVIDED

- Fair admission ticket
- Parking ticket
- Complimentary sponsor breakfast for anyone working a morning shift, 8:00-10:00 AM at the Creative Arts Building, Wegman's Demo Kitchen (wristband required, provided in advance)
- Mileage/gas reimbursement for employees traveling from Rochester

Admission and parking tickets will be emailed to you in advance of your scheduled day.

We are aiming for two employees per day, though a single person can staff the booth if needed.

If multiple employees sign up for the same day, carpooling is encouraged.

HOW TO SIGN UP

If you are interested and available, please first confirm with your direct manager that you are approved to take the day. Once approved, contact Taylor Smith directly and he will add you to the schedule and send your credentials.
